By Rail

Trains to Doncaster are frequent and swift, with journeys from London taking under 2 hours.

The Mansion House is a 10 minute walk from Doncaster Railway Station, and is actually quicker than taking a taxi � which adds an extra 1.4 miles onto the journey.

From the train station, cross the dual carriageway via the two pelican crossings, and head down West Laith Gate, following signs to The Post Office. When you reach the entrance to the Frenchgate Centre opposite a TJ Hughes, turn up Printing Office Street, and take the first left onto Priory Place, following signs for the Tourist Information Centre. At the end of the road turn right onto the High Street and walk 100m to the entrance of The Mansion House on your right.

By Car

Parking directly next to The Mansion House is very limited, and daytime access is prohibited to many vehicles, but a large pay and display car park is open each day at The Frenchgate Centre. Walking from this car park is very straightforward, either down the High Street towards the Post Office and Tourist Information Centre, or walking up Printing Office Street and turning left onto Priory Place and right onto High Street.

Alternative parking further away is also available at an NCP Car Park on East Laith Gate/Park Street. To walk from here, head northwest down East Laith Gate following signs for Tourist Information. Turn left down Silver Street and follow it until you are able to take the first right onto High Street. The Mansion House will be on your left.

From the M18

• Exit at Junction 4 of the M18. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A630 heading towards Doncaster (go through 2 roundabouts).
• At the 3rd roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Thorne Road/A18.
• Continue on Thorne Road for 0.2 miles and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto Wheatley Hall Road/A630 (continue to follow A630 and go through 2 roundabouts for 3.4 miles).
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Cleveland Street.
• Once on Cleveland street turn left onto Duke Street, then take the first right to St Sepulchre Gate, bearing left to West Laith Gate. The entrance to the Frenchgate Car Park will be on the right.

From the A1M

• Exit at Junction 36 of the A1(M) and take the A630 exit towards Rotherham/Doncaster.
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Warmsworth Road/A630 heading towards Doncaster/Balby/A630 and continue on the A630.
• After approximately 1.5 miles bear right onto Balby Road/A630, continue to follow the A630. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Cleveland Street.
• Once on Cleveland street turn left onto Duke Street, then take the first right to St Sepulchre Gate, bearing left to West Laith Gate. The entrance to the Frenchgate Car Park will be on the right.
