Business Award

Runner Up - Single Use Surgical Ltd
Highly Commended - Garnett Dickinson/Garnett Dickinson Digital
Winner - First South Yorkshire

First South Yorkshire, which is based in Rotherham, was the proud winner of the Business Award category. First won the award for their contribution to improving air quality through the introduction of the new X78 bus service. The buses run from Doncaster to Sheffield via Rotherham and are new Euro 4 standard buses that emit far fewer emissions than the older vehicles - meaning improved air quality along the bus corridor. Recent measurements taken along this corridor have shown that the introduction of the new buses has made a significant improvement to the quality of the air.
