The Care4Air Awards recognise individuals and organisations that are making significant achievements in improving air quality, such as setting up travel plans in local organisations, being more energy efficient (e.g. installing energy efficient light bulbs or setting up a recycling scheme) providing community travel schemes for members of the public or for the school run, setting up a school walking bus, setting up car-sharing schemes, promoting cycling as an alternative to using the car, and making significant lifestyle changes to improve air quality (e.g. walking or cycling to work everyday).
